MADDIE PHILLIPS
FILM AND TELEVISION GRADUATE
BIOGRAPHY
Maddie Phillips is a film and television graduate who has previously worked for production companies such as Sony, MTV and Syco Music. Maddie’s film industry credits include 3rd Assistant Director, Head Set Runner and Production Assistant. She has completed two BFI courses; firstly a regional based in Colchester where she produced a short film called ‘Helium'. This was shortly followed by a two week residential course at the National Film and Television School where again she was chosen as a producer for the short film ‘The Fall’.
Working in the creative industry since 2016, Maddie’s first job was a runner within MTV’s event department working on the live music festival ‘MTV Crashes Plymouth’. 2016 not only saw her first industry job but Maddie also was awarded ‘Student of the Year’ at South Essex College.
Following this she has worked on several short films and two feature films, including the new upcoming movie ‘Men In Black International’ directed by F. Gary Gray.
Maddie has also worked personally with professional clients creating adverts, corporate videos and materials for companies such as Ferrero Rocher and Lemon Witch Kitchen.
Maddie last worked producing and directing a music video for the band ‘King and Co’, which can be found within the portfolio tab. She is currently working on a short film called ‘Surveillance’ which she wrote and is planning to direct and produce, which will be premiered in the summer of 2019.
